From the opening serve, the courts hosted closely contested matches, extended rallies and no shortage of impressive smashes. Some players revealed skills their colleagues may not have known about, while others seized the opportunity to try the sport for the first time - all bringing the same enthusiasm and determination to the venue.
With different levels represented, everyone was able to take part, test their abilities and enjoy the experience. Between matches, there was also plenty of encouragement from the sidelines, time to catch up and, inevitably, some friendly debate over the best points of the morning.
The event concluded with prizes awarded to the top-performing pairs in each group, followed by a team lunch and more time to enjoy the occasion.
Sports activities are consistently among the internal initiatives most appreciated by our team, as they offer colleagues from different areas and roles the chance to step away from their usual routines, get active and spend time with people they may not work alongside on a daily basis. Following the positive response to previous editions, the Padel Tournament had also become one of the most requested events to make a comeback.
