ITSector expands into Canada

After almost a decade of working with Canadian financial institutions, ITSector is strengthening its international footprint with the opening of its first office in Montreal.

Since entering the Canadian market in 2017, ITSector has supported financial institutions across the country, with specialised teams contributing to key stages of their digital transformation journeys.

Establishing a permanent operation in Canada is a natural evolution of that relationship and reflects the strategic importance of the market to ITSector. Being closer to its clients will allow the company to support their priorities and roadmaps more effectively, while gaining first-hand insight into the regulatory, technological and competitive developments shaping Canadian financial services. The new operation is already gaining momentum, with a new client joining ITSector’s portfolio.

Leading this next stage is Dumitru Dabija, Country Manager, who brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and consulting services. His role will focus on growing ITSector’s business in the country and helping clients navigate the challenges ahead, supported by the company’s delivery teams in Portugal and more than 20 years of digital banking expertise.

For Dumitru, the expansion comes at a particularly relevant time for the Canadian financial sector.
