ITSector at Revolution Banking 2026

Our team returned to one of Mexico’s leading banking events to contribute to the conversations shaping the future of finance.

Novo Projeto-Aug-04-2026-08-54-18-1327-AMOn July 22, ITSector joined banking leaders and technology specialists in Mexico City as a proud sponsor of the 16th edition of Revolution Banking, one of the region’s foremost forums for discussing the trends and challenges reshaping the financial industry.

As new digital ecosystems take shape and Artificial Intelligence moves from experimentation into business-critical operations, financial institutions are facing growing pressure to modernise increasingly complex technology environments. The challenge is no longer simply to adopt AI, but to translate its potential into a sustainable competitive advantage without compromising security, regulatory compliance or customer trust.

This question was central to a panel moderated by Armando Barragán Maya, Digital Transformation Practice Leader at ITSector, alongside representatives from Banorte, Banco Sabadell México and Kapital Bank. Bringing together different perspectives from across the banking sector, the discussion explored how AI can accelerate the modernisation of legacy systems while managing project risk, preserving operational continuity and meeting stringent security and regulatory requirements.

Beyond this moment, our stand gave us the opportunity to engage with clients, partners and other key stakeholders. José Vargas, Application Modernisation Manager, and Raúl Espinosa, API & Microservices Governance Manager, were also present. Together, the team exchanged perspectives, shared insights from real-world projects and showcased ITSector’s expertise in application modernisation, omnichannel banking, API governance and microservices-based architectures.

Reflecting on the experience, Armando highlights: “Our participation in Revolution Banking confirmed both the scale of the transformation under way across Mexico’s financial sector and the value ITSector can bring to that journey. It was an excellent opportunity to listen to industry leaders, exchange perspectives and demonstrate how we help organisations modernise their technology, accelerate innovation and achieve tangible business outcomes.”

The event marked another step in ITSector’s growing presence in Latin America, strengthening its ties with the banking community and opening new opportunities for collaboration.

By remaining close to the market and its evolving needs, ITSector continues to build the relationships and sector knowledge required to support financial institutions in turning complex challenges into meaningful progress.

ITSector took part in this conference as part of the ALTEN Group.
